Do not seal drainage paths
Some skylight systems include designed drainage routes. Adding sealant without understanding the system can trap water or move the leak.
Identify the unit and roof type
Brand, model, age, glazing type and surrounding roof material help determine whether service parts, flashing repair or full unit replacement is appropriate.
